The Application Of The Hierarchy Of Needs In The Treatment Of Juvenile Delinquency In Social Work

Teenagers are the future and hope of a country,so the development and the problems of teenagers have been widely concerned by all countries.Teenagers are in a special period of rapid development of physical and mental,who are easily affected by external things.In recent years,with the rapid development of the national economy and society,juvenile crime in China is becoming a serious problem,therefore,the correction of juvenile delinquents is urgent.At present,social work and social workers have been more and more involved in the correction of juvenile delinquents.If the social workers use of the hierarchy of needs theory scientifically in this process,they can understand immediate needs of youth crime more deeply,so as to adopt more humanized and more effective correction measures,effectively improve the efficiency effect and correction of social work.It can help young people to realize the criminal resocialization better,contribute to the national policy of innovation and development,contribute to social work theory and practice of professional development,help the community resource utilization and social harmony and stability.This paper using the method of literature research,Sorting and summarizing the research on juvenile crime,juvenile delinquency and social work intervention of juvenile delinquency correction and other aspects at home and abroad,on the basis of a comprehensive understanding of the basic content of the theory of needs hierarchy and the status quo of domestic and foreign juvenile delinquency,this paper expounding the necessity of applying the theory of hierarchy of needs in the social work of juvenile delinquency correction.This paper also using the methods of questionnaires,interviews to survey and analysis the basic situation and requirements of a juvenile delinquent and a prison criminal and putting forward the principle of applying the theory of demand hierarchy and the concrete measures in the social work of juvenile delinquency.This paper includes four parts as a whole,the first part mainly expounds the research background and significance of this article,domestic and foreign research review,research ideas and methods,and related concepts defined,etc The second part mainly summarizes the main content of the hierarchy of needs theory,the shortcomings of the current youth crime correction social work,and the application of the hierarchy of needs theory;The third part is an analysis of the basic situation and results of the investigation of a juvenile in a juvenile administration and in a prison.The fourth part is to put forward the principle of applying the theory of demand hierarchy and specific measures in the practice of juvenile delinquency.
