| When the anti-Japanese war broke out completely, the Chinese Communist Party based on its own reality, correctly analyzed the serious domestic and international situation that the Chinese Communist Party was facing, and put forward the policy of actively striving for foreign support on the basis of self-reliance. Under the guidance of this policy, the Chinese Communist Party has actively formulated policies that are conducive to attracting assistance and have cooperated with international friends and patriotic overseas Chinese through agencies such as the Eighth Route Army Office and Yan’an Foreign Affairs Office. The policies and related measures formulated by the Chinese Communist Party have attracted many international friends and patriotic overseas Chinese to provide public opinion propaganda, capital support, military support, medical assistance and technical assistance for the Chinese Communist Party. Their propaganda broke the Nationalist Party’s distorted reports on the Chinese Communist Party, the international community objectively understood the Chinese Communist Party, and the Chinese Communist Party established its new image. And even many international friends and patriotic overseas Chinese broke the siege of the Nationalist Party and Japanese invaders,went to the border areas and base areas in enemy’s rear area to participate in the construction of causes in liberated area,which made a great contribution for the victory of the war. After the founding of new China, many international friends and patriotic overseas Chinese even voluntarily stayed in China to join the construction of causes in new China. Therefore,it’s necessary to make deep analysis on the impact of the international friends and patriotic overseas Chinese on the Chinese Communist Party.Based on the rich historical data and the existing research results, this paper makes comprehensive analysis on the issue of assistance to the Chinese Communist Party by the international friends and patriotic overseas Chinese. The whole thesis is divided into three parts. The first part mainly analyzes the necessity and importance of actively striving for assistance of Chinese friends and patriotic overseas Chinese by the CCP. Before the outbreak of comprehensive anti-Japanese war, the gap of comprehensive strength between China and Japan, the military idea of protracted war proposed by the CCP, the lagging social economic conditions of the CCP and theNationalist Party’s changes of the policy of the CCP after the Southern Anhui Incident became the necessary reasons for the CCP to actively strive for assistance.The establishment of a series of policies and regulations that can attract assistance and are formulated by the CCP,the establishment of related assistance agencies and the relatively stable environment in the border area all provided possibility for obtaining assistance. The second part mainly discusses the contents of the assistance obtained by the Chinese Communist Party. International friends and patriotic overseas Chinese provided assistance for the CCP in the aspects of public opinion propaganda,economy, military matters, medical and health care and professional technology. The third part mainly discusses the characteristics of aid subject, aid content and aid time,and analyzes the significance of providing assistance for the CCP by the Chinese friends and patriotic overseas Chinese, so as to obtain objective and accurate understanding of the historical facts. |
