Since The Media Era, Local Governments Have Responded To The Public Crisis Mechanism

Being in the period of social transformation,China faces the interaction of diverse interest appeals and the constant emergence of various contradictions and conflicts.They may evolve into regional or even large-scale,long-lasting public crises if not coped with prudently,which is particularly true in the extremely developed we media era.We media,also known as citizen media or personal media,is the sum of individual,grass-root,general,and voluntary disseminators spreading standard or nonstandard news to unspecific or particular people by mechanism digital means.Public crisis is unexpected,group-oriented,complicated,changeable,and destructive,which highlights the importance of local governments' effective response to and settlement of public crises in we media era.Against this background,features of traditional media and we media are analyzed respectively.Then,the disparity of public crisis response mechanisms of local governments in different times is summarized;the significance of constructing a good public crisis response mechanism of local governments in we media era is elaborated theoretically.On this basis,problems of the current public crisis response mechanism of local governments in China and the underlying reasons are explored.Finally,suggestions and countermeasures for the construction and improvement of public crisis response mechanism of local governments in we media era are proposed.
