In today's society, influenced by the market-oriented economy, the impacts of the rapid development of network information bring great influences to the senior high school students' thoughts and psychology. Besides, it produces plenty of difficulties in school moral educational works, which puts forward greater challenges. In the real life, the events of moral deficiency frequently happen among the senior high school students. The reasons, to a large extent, are due to lacking of ideals and faiths as well as the result of weak will. The traditional school moral educational works often focus more on form than content, which is disconnected with the modern life. Blindly inculcating knowledge in a simple way does not play the role of moral education in schools effectively. It is an urgent realistic problem to be solved that how to educate the senior high school students further more effectively.This paper is based on No.2 middle school of Chengwu, Shangdong province as the research sample. It investigates the school subject class meetings in detail and on the basis of it to observe and introspect the development of them. Then,we practice them personally, which provides huge amounts of the first data for the study of development. At the same time, the author read a large number cases of theme class meetings of the front-line teachers carefully and the relevant authoritative theory books, papers and essays and so on. Through referencing and introspecting, I explore and practice the design of the motivational subject meetings in our school.This study elaborates the author's understanding for the motivational subject class meetings, including the concept, the main theoretical basis, characteristics, significance and so on. In the third part of the thesis, it emphatically discusses the design principles and thoughts of the motivational subject class meetings, the principles of “planning, integration, pertinence and innovation". And the design ideas are discoursed from the choices of content, the the establishment of the goals, the design of the process. In the fourth part, the paper selects the design cases of motivational subject class meetings from senior one to senior three to demonstrate. These cases are designed on the basis of the outstanding cases and our practices in the process of practice. The last part of the paper, it puts forward the idea of establishing repository of the school motivational subject class meetings. Its purposes lie in prompting the design of the school motivational subject class meetings and developing more effectively.This paper is finished in the practical process of participating in the school subject class meetings. Its purposes lie in guiding the schools how to develop those subject class meetings activities. Hope the theoretical ideas and suggestions in this paper can provide beneficial assistance for the school further works.
