Compared with the theme class meetings concerned with the common needs of students' development,appeared "fragments" phenomenon difficult to form a coherence and continue for the students' moral education,the regular class meetings are the activities of moral education for the whole class students to participate in under the guidance of the head teacher,which based on the development of students and class differences in characteristics,track students' development process,pay attention to their moral confusion and moral conflict in daily life,and to generate the theme of education.At present,many middle schools' administrators and head teachers do not take regular class meetings seriously,treat them as "minor subjects".Because of lacking of planning,the regular class meetings become a mere formality,leading to some invalid class meetings appearance,such as "lectured class","struggle session class" and "file class" and "self-study class",and produce low effectiveness of moral education.According to the above realities,this study takes TW middle school's regular class meetings as the study object,adopts the methods of document analysis,questionnaire survey,interview,participatory observation and other research methods to organize and develop this study.So that we can understand the present situation of the regular class meetings from the different perspectives of the students,the head teachers and the school administrators,and then survey and analyze the achievements and deficiencies in the practice of the curriculum of the regular class meeting of the case school.Finally,we put forward the ideas and suggestions for the improvement of the curriculum regular class meetings in junior middle school based on the reflection of the value of the regular class meeting and the practice of the case school.through the investigation and research,this study found that the regular class meeting is standardized from the perspective of curriculum in the case school and brought into the school-based moral education curriculum system.So that it not only caused the attention of teachers and students,avoided the production of invalid class meeting,but also made some achievements and promoted the effectiveness of moral education to some extent.At the same time,through combing and analyzing the research data,this study also found that there are some deficiencies in the curriculum practice of the regular class meeting of the case school,such as the low effectiveness of students' summaries,the inadequacy of the role of the student host,the imbalance of the head teacher's evaluation on “criticizing” and “praising”,the insufficient of the head teachers' rendering of stories and lack of connection with students' performance and so on.Based on the above aspects,this study puts forward the ideas and suggestions on the improvement of the curriculum of the regular class meeting in junior high school based on the reflecting of the value of regular class meetings: setting up a curriculum management organization and fulfilling its duties to work out the development goal of individualized moral education that accords with the reality of the school and pick up the specific course contents to cultivate students' good moral behavior habits;organizing school-based training to improve the professional accomplishment of the head teacher and pursue the efficient moral education class;connecting the life world of the students and lighting their enthusiasm to participate the class meeting,encouraging them to take part in class management and develop self-education and self-practice,strengthening the students' experience and cultivating the students' ability of moral judgment;enriching the multiple evaluation system to promote the healthy and orderly operation of the curriculum by mobilizing the enthusiasm of teachers and students to participate in the curriculum,encouraging students to develop themselves in their own practice,and elevating the professional quality of class teachers in the course construction.So that the regular class meetings can play an important role in the moral education of the middle school with the joint force between teachers and students.
