Chinese as the most humanistic subject have unique advantages in nurturing temperament and training experience of student. Chinese teachers must have a wide range of good quality in order to compete his job. For a long time, the development of education made full requirements in teaching skills, but less in teaching emotional qualities. This triggered a series of problems in Chinese education and teaching.In order to solve this problem, this paper attempts to start from the characteristic of Chinese subject that focusing on emotional factors and drawing on the knowledge of psychology, and makes a investigate in teaching emotional intelligence of the Chinese teacher.The thesis is divided into four sections: Interpretation of Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence, compositions and functions of Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence, the cultivation of Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence and the practices of Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence. At the beginning of the text,with a small introduction, the writer start embarks from the realistic and proposes the questions of this situation to be studied. Simple review of the literature shows the necessity of Chinese teachers teaching emotional intelligence.Starting from the characteristics of Chinese subject, the thesis focuses on the teaching emotional factors, draws on the relevant knowledge of psychology, and makes a discussion on the teaching emotional quality of Chinese teachers.The first part is the interpretation of Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence,In this part,the meaning of Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence are defined.Chinese teachers teaching emotional intelligence refers to the emotional abilities of Chinese teachers in teaching process. Specifically,it refers to that Chinese teachers focuses on the emotional factors in Chinese teaching,and uses rational cognition to feel and comprehend the affects accurately, to express and evaluate feelings properly, to adjust and control their feelings in proper ways,and to deal with the interpersonal relationships sensibly.This kind of ability can make the emotions to migrate and externalize.It also analyzes the characteristics of Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence from three aspects: setting affective teaching goals, selecting affective teaching contents and Emotional interacting of teachersand students and proposes the theoretical basis from pedagogy, psychology and other aspects.The second part is the components and functions of Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence. The Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence can be divided into the wisdom of awareness and understanding, the wisdom of expression and evaluation,and the wisdom of regulation and control. The wisdom of awareness and understanding includes the wisdom of perceiving text and the wisdom of understanding students. The wisdom of expression and evaluation include the wisdom of teachers expressing their emotions and the wisdom of evaluating students' feelings.The wisdom of regulation and control includes the wisdom of classroom emotional self-control and the emotion regulation to students from teachers. This part discusses the functions of Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence for students and teachers. Teachers' teaching emotional intelligence can enhance students' ability to survive, promote students' cognitive development, and improve students' ability of innovation.Teachers' teaching emotional intelligence can improve the quality and personality of teachers, improve teachers' professional skills and harmonious interpersonal relationships.The third part is the cultivation of the Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence.In this part, the writer proposed five aspects to cultivating the Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence. They are optimizing the structure of qualities, expanding the cultural horizons, innovating the educational concept, improving the training system and reforming the appraisal system.The fourth part is the practices of the Chinese teachers' teaching emotional intelligence.We can use analyzing of the materials, taking good care of student and migrating Learning methods and other methods to practice our teaching emotional intelligence. This part want to give inspirations to our Chinese teacher.Analyzing of the materials can be carried out by two methods of text and punctuation.Taking good care of student in the process of teaching and learning can be demonstrated from many aspects of the performance like respecting students,urging students,tolerating students and praising students.Teachers' teaching emotional intelligence migrating outside are shown in classroom organization, colloquial conversation and posture and gestures.Four parts around each other and interlocking each other. They are focusing on theoretical explanation or trying to make practices in actual life. This paper is a tentative study and it also need our Chinese teachers to pay attention to the teaching emotional intelligence and work hard. Chinese teacher must have a sense of training and developing their teaching emotional intelligence, to increase their knowledge of literacy, expand their cultural horizons, and form their own "Chinese character".
