Nowadays, network media, movies, televisions have already permeated into people's life and production, which becomes the most important resource of out-of-class learning of middle school students. So film and television resources have been more and more apply to Chinese teaching in middle school and the integrity, vividness and pertinence have made it have a wide range of exploitation and application.Chinese reading is the basis and core of Chinese learning, however, the current reading instruction of Chinese still have many problems, such as: the severe tendency of test education, the lack of well reading habit, the ignorance of students' reading and so on. Thus, after bring in film and television resources, the students' reading interest have been motivated, the abilities of reading and thinking have been cultivated, the teachers' teaching efficient have been improved, and then students can cultivated a good reading habit and enhance their literary quality.The thesis contains four parts which discussed the application of film and television resources to Chinese teaching in middle school.The first part of this thesis discussed the reason and meaning of the topic and the research summarize, including the research situation of film and television resources which get involved into Chinese teaching in middle school, the current situation of reading in middle school. In the meantime, this part also introduced the research methods which used in this thesis.The second part of this thesis discussed the feasibility of the application of film and television resources to Chinese teaching in middle school. The analysis of the film and television resources from the aspects of conception, features and functions comes to the first place. The theory basis of the application of film and television resources to Chinese teaching in middle school is in the second place. Because film and television resources contains Chinese reading instruction resources, popularize of multi-media also provided material basis of the utilizing of film and television resources, states the integration of film and television resources and middle-school student characteristic. Finally, through the questionnaire survey, it is showed that watching film and television works already becomes the most important way of middle school student to reading masterworks.The third part of this thesis is the key point of the whole thesis. It comes up with the principles of film and television resources in the reading instruction of middle school. Through the questionnaire survey and the analysis of the cases, including the specific teaching practice, stated the implementation strategy of the application of film and television resources to Chinese teaching in middle school. And make a list of detailed teaching cases and analysis.The fourth part of this thesis pointed out the problems and resolutions that should be noticed of the application of film and television resources to Chinese teaching in middle school.
