Hong Kong is a world famous international metropolis, its unique and attractive. Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China, and the international economy the most developed financial center; Both the extension and inheritance of Chinese culture in Hong Kong, and the distinctive mark of western culture. Textbooks reflect differences between Hong Kong and the mainland Chinese education is a important mirror, in the language teaching material of different selection, Hong Kong and the mainland more and more of the differences between Chinese education and the similarity of refraction, by comparing the Hong Kong and the mainland high school language teaching material selection, not only to the success of the vertical are certainly selected article, also can absorb in the horizontal comparison of advanced ideas from Hong Kong, teaching material, as Hong Kong and the mainland is the same roots, so the comparison is more operable and practical.This paper select mainlanders and thought of Chinese textbooks for high school and Hong Kong edition of Chinese textbook for senior middle school as the research sample, based on the research of the selection and comparison, the summary of the analysis on different dimensions, thus of mainland Chinese textbook construction in our country, enlightenment and suggestion to provide practical and effective.The first chapter is the introduction part, mainly to this article research problems and significance to interpretation, but also to the experts, scholars in recent years, research on the two versions of this article, with the scientific research method lays the foundation for the research of this paper. Second chapter in this paper, the development of Chinese education in Hong Kong's history and the status quo, for the study of qi version of teaching materials and are the differences of teaching material to find root cause.
