Samples have been offered to analysis and make detailed comparison betweenclassical Chinese units abstracted from two textbooks, one published byPEP(People’s education press) in2001, and the other one, version101by KangHsuan Educational Publishing House. Literature researches, comparative method,statistic method and case study have been adopted in the paper to make comparativestudy in the way of edition, selection and arrangement of the textbooks.Firstly, a comparative study of the compiling principle of the textbooks hasbeen carried on through the analysis of the "Full-time Compulsory EducationPhilology Curriculum Standards (Trial Version)" for mainland and the "Nine-yearJunior High School Syllabus (Philology Learning)" for Taiwan, the spotlight hasbeen put on their relevant rudimentary requirements of classical Chinese and theconcepts of two documents; then combine the result with the respective comparativeanalysis of the textbook description and its related files so as to make profoundunderstanding of their basic idea.Secondly, a comparative study on the selection of the articles has beenconducted. The quantity, proportion, theme, time and the coincide articles or authorshave been compared and analyzed in quantization, the conclusion has beendemonstrated in diagrams directly.Finally, a comparative study of the arrangement has been made. With therequirement of the two documents, the publish technology, the stylistic rules andlayout and the structure of the arrangement of the articles have been analyzedseparately, while the structure of the arrangement has been analyzed through casestudy.Based on the above comparative study in three aspects, the conclusion is: withdifferent concept of compiling, edition and arrangement, the two textbooks of thesame grade have pros and cons, merits and shortcomings. The needs andrequirements of the students and the educational environment should be took into consideration so that they can take advantage of each other and make commonprogress. The specific advice are the importance of classical should be emphasiscontinuously, textbook compiling requirements should be further refined, selectionof article should be classic, the principle “from easy to difficult†should be stickledto, the compiling structure should be more systematic, the presentation of textbookshould be more accessible for students. |
