With the “high school Chinese curriculum(Experimental)standards” was issued by the Ministry of education in 2003,which broken the situation of the People's Education Press domination.For a time,all versions of Chinese textbooks are coming first.Whether can adapt to the wave of basic education curriculum reform has become the focus of discussion.Chinese ancient literature is an invaluable cultural heritage of the Chinese nation.It has made great artistic achievements in poetry,prose,novels and dramas.Therefore,the author study the ancient literatures from senior Chinese compulsory texts between the versions of Jiangsu education publishing house and Guangdong education publishing house to find out their respective characteristics and provide reference for the reform of basic education.First of all,this paper sorts out the reasons,significance and current research status of the topic,so as to snoop on the deficiencies of the current research.Then we compare and analyze the three aspects,text system,help-reading system,exercise system,and put forward corresponding suggestions for the problems found.The first part is a comparative study of the text system is mainly related to the number,genre and dynasty.The two edition of the textbook has been selected for a certain amount of classic works,although the classic is less interesting,to enhance the interest is a place to be strengthened.The texts are distributed in the books by teaching and reading section,and the self-reading text is the extension of the teaching content.It is particularly important to arrange the number and position of the self-reading text reasonably.The unbalanced distribution of genres and dynasty is also the characteristic about the text system.If it is too unbalanced,it needs to focus on the comprehensiveness of the selected texts.In the second part of this article,a comparative study of the help-reading system includes three aspects,unit description,annotations and illustrations.The form and content of the unit description are different about two versions,all of them can play a guiding role for the students,while the versions of Jiangsu Education PublishingHouse is not as clear as the version of Guangdong Education Publishing House.Unit description should reflect three dimensional goals,so as to effectively guide students to learn.An appropriate amount of annotation is the commonality features,while there is also a different character of the same word.There will be no different results only with rigorous attitude and scientific annotation.The illustrations put on the title page or in the text should be arranged to play a better role,it is an unavoidable problem for the two edition of the textbook,which requires digging into the location of the illustrations.The third section introduce a comparative study of the exercise system is made from the position,name,number and type of exercises.Although every practice is closely centered on the design of the selected text,there are also problems such as inadequate guidance,insufficient situation and vague levels.Therefore,we need to enhance the inspiration of practice,strengthen the situational practice after class and consider the students' different level of learning.
