Language curriculum standards promulgated in 2011, proposed the building of Chinese courses should inherit the splendid traditions of language education, focusing on reading, accumulation, sentiment, emphasize holistic grasp and influence of infection.Excellent picture books show another reading world to children with its exquisite illustrations, and is very suitable as a supplementary Chinese language teaching resources to be exploited. However, the country is still in groping stage about picture books education, there are still many problems, such as a picture book will only be taken as a picture tool in writing class, or only for reading. In fact, using picture books to improve their reading and writing skills can combine reading and writing, instead of separating them. Combination of reading and writing is a good way to combine the reading value and writing value of the picture books. Combination of reading and writing is a teaching way to combine reading and writing teaching practice in the same class, which can enhance children's reading and writing ability.This research will launching teaching practice of combination of reading and writing in low-years period primary schools by taking the picture books, as a complement to Chinese language courses, so as to enhance the students' reading and writing ability. This paper is divided into four chapters, the first chapter is an introduction, mainly introduces the purpose, significance, and overseas and domestic research status. The second chapter is an overview of the main binding meaning about picture books, combination of reading and writing, and other related concepts, content and so on. The third chapter is the surveys about the picture books and the combination of reading and writing, and analyze the current situation and problems of teaching of combination of reading and writing by picture books with the findings of the analysis and discussion, and make some reflection. Chapter IV undertaking the preceding section, proposes solutions to the problems in teaching of combination of reading and writing by picture books. The last segment is a summary and vision about literacy teaching effect by picture books.Picture books leading children into the reading world, open a door to understand the world, let children accumulating language gradually and appreciating the life in the world of reading.Teachers launch teaching practice of combination of reading and writing properly by using picture books, which can not only play the value of picture books, but also can let children read happily, and develop their imagination in the happy reading procedure. In the class of teaching practice of combination of reading and writing by using picture books, children will accumulate language, thereby they can output their own language by continuously input, that is to increase the ability of writing gradually in the reading world.
