the Ministry of education clearly put forward to the implementation of quality education from kindergarten stage. Quality education should not only focus on the development of children’s intelligence, we should pay more attention to children’s physique improvement. The "national long-term education reform and development plan(2010- 2020)" in the provisions of the preschool education in a more important position, the development of sports in the first place. Big break sports activities in kindergarten is the main part of the children’s physical exercise. However, the physical activities in kindergarten widespread content boring, fuzzy goal, exercise form a single problem, especially some of the kindergartens self-made light equipment exercise, lack of theoretical guidance of scientific creation, resulting in children in the process of exercise interest is not high, the exercise effect is poor. Based on the characteristics of physical and mental development of children and the children’s physical and mental development goals, creating with certain characteristics of children dumbbell exercises,let children in the beautiful music, interesting action, brilliant performances, clever interaction with other forms of some resistance exercise, to exercise and cultivate the strong willpower, enlightenment thinking, has certain practical significance.Using literature data method, questionnaire survey method, expert interview method, on-the-spot investigation method, combined with characteristics of physical and mental development of children and national physique monitoring and testing children’s part as a reference, through imitation, reference, space conversion,formation changes method compose the class children dumbbell exercises, and through the Chengdu Institute of physical education to compose the expert group review and approval. Finally, in Chengdu Dongguang kindergarten for a period of one semester experiment. The experimental results show that the experimental group of the top class in a kindergarten in power quality, endurance, speed, quality, flexibility,quality coordination, balance quality has significantly improve, complete sets of actions by recognition of teachers and children, reflect the dumbbell exercise creation principle,the implementation of the science and rationality of the process. And put forward the following suggestions:(1), the children dumbbell exercises included in children’s big break sports activities, to enrich the content of children’s sports exercise;(2), through competition, performing, etc. promotion;(3), the competent departments should attach importance to the light equipment Aerobics to compose and learning, regularlyfor preschool teachers composing skills training;(4), increase kindergarten light equipment facilities investment, better rich big break activities, to promote children’s physical and mental in front of the development.The innovation of this research include:(1), to national physique monitoring and testing content reference creation of complete set of movements, target exercise more targeted;(2), in a fun, interactive, art as the guiding ideology, joined the formation change, space conversion, interaction, excessive movements such as the novel form,breaks through the traditional calisthenics single mode, so that children in a pleasant atmosphere of physical exercise, increased the emotional communication between children, cultivate the consciousness of unity and cooperation and strong willpower.
