Investigation And Research On The Status Quo Of Foreign Students Education In Universities In Jiangsu Province

This paper combines both synchronic and diachronic study, use the statistical analysis method and documents analysis method to analyze the current situation of the development of foreign student education at Jiangsu province. And analyze the data of foreign student education at three universities-Nanjing Normal University, Soochow University and Jiangsu Normal University from the three different reigns of Jiangsu Province, then conclude the characteristic of the development of Jiangsu Province foreign student education. Through analyze the advantages and limitations of foreign student education at Jiangsu Province, present the countermeasures to promote that work.This Paper has five parts.Introduction part describes the research object is the current situation of foreign student education at universities in Jiangsu Province. The purpose of this paper is propounding suggestions to increase the quantity of international students and improve the management quality of international students at Jiangsu Province.Chapter one analyzes the current situation of foreign student education at Jiangsu Province, then summarizes the characteristics and through the status survey of three universities-Nanjing Normal University, Soochow University and Jiangsu Normal University concludes the main features of Jiangsu foreign student education.Chapter two analyzes the influence factors and the existing problems of foreign student education at Jiangsu Province. Influence factors include the stable social development environment, rich higher education resources and brilliant history and culture. Existing problems include the propaganda for recruiting foreign student is lacked, administration of foreign student need to be perfect, teaching staff is lacked and teaching level is not high.Chapter three according to the above research presents the countermeasures to promote that work, which includes take the advantages of the regional culture to attract international students, extend publicity and use more channels to recruit student, strength the construction of English curriculum to improve the foreign student academic level, perfect the foreign student scholarship system, improve the foreign student education quality, etc.In the last part makes a conclusion of this paper and explain the continuing study in the future.
