| This research adopts literature research, comparative analysis and historical analysis to comprehensively analyze the evolution of Play in the Chinese preschool education regulations.On the basis of analyzing the main regulations of preschool education promulgated since 1903 in our country, the author thinks that the status of Play in our country’s preschool education regulations, generally speaking, experiences the change from primary items of child care and education to one of the seven courses, from subordinate content of physical education to basic activity. Specifically, the connotation from sport activity to activity, the value from being a tool to emphasizing essence, and the nature has completed the transition from welfare to right.On the basis of the analysis above, meanwhile, learning from John·W·Kingdon, a policy theorist of America, who set up the Multiple Streams Theory on public policy, the author constructed the theoretical framework of this research to analyze Play’s evolution process and the dynamic factors in our country’s preschool education regulations. From the perspective of the multiple streams theory, the author holds that the combination of problems stream, policies stream and politics stream prompts Play’s evolution.Of which, government ideology as the political tone has an important influence on Play’s content,nature and orientation. While,the government’s diplomacy and study abroad policy play a guiding role. In addition, practical status, a reality factor, is the trigger mechanism of evolution of Play. Moreover, some of the key figures, such as certain educators and city fathers also make difference.Taking the development of our country’s preschool into account, in order to manage the new opportunities and challenges, the author gives some suggestions: Firstly, under the background of globalization and localization,we should reasonably learn from other countries based on our country’s conditions.Secondly, we should pay more attention to updated ideas compared with the studying system.Thirdly, we should construct and complete the regulation system further and promote legislation on preschool education. Fourthly, we should regard Play as the key point to improve the quality of preschool education. For this end, clarifying the relationship between play and curriculum, coordinating the three aspects value of it, grasping its spiritual essence are necessary. |
