Chinese Language teaching material is the important carrier to realize the concept of Chinese curriculum,the fundamental sources for students to obtain knowledge and information of Chinese,and the basic medium for Chinese teachers in their teaching practice as well.Textbook,especially a good one,as the core part of teaching material,will directly affects the development of Chinese educating activities.“Kaiming Guoyu,an elementary Chinese language textbook“,featuring Ye Shengtao as an editor and Feng Zikai as an illustrator,is one of the outstanding Chinese textbooks for primary school during the period of Republic of China,meanwhile an excellent book of children' literature which is based on the children's standpoint.Studying “Kaiming Guoyu,an elementary Chinese language textbook“ is not only an perfection and improvement of the concept in editing teaching material and enriching concept of Chinese teaching material for primary school,but also aims at helping Chinese teachers proceed from children's reality in a better way,establish dialogue consciousness with editors,optimize method of teaching and improve classroom teaching quality of Chinese.This paper consisted of four parts: The introduction briefly introduces the origin,the meaning and the relevant status of the study.The first chapter outlines the distinction between children's standpoint,view and standard;indicates their characteristics--uniqueness,diversity and expansibility;and exam the historical basis of children's standpoint in the educational reform during the period of Republic of China.The second chapter discuss the importance of children's standpoint from the editor of “Kaiming Guoyu,an elementary Chinese language textbook” and features of the book.Editor accumulates many important experience from his Chinese educating activities and fairytale creation,laying the important practice foundationof compiling the Chinese textbooks,and finally forms his own thoughts which allows him to regard children as subject and proceed from children' standpoint while editing teaching materials and scheduling Chinese knowledge.The third chapter mainlystates the inspiration drawn from editing and using teaching materials,points out that we should value Chinese textbooks for primary school as children's literature reading material,choosing and editing famous classical literature from the perspective of children,in the mean time,designing oral communication exercise based on the children,meanwhile,laying emphasis on the childeducation experience of the front-line teachers.This part at the same time advocates that dialogue consciousness must be established between editors and teachers,as well as the intergration of the teaching materialsresources should be based on children's standpoint,to make teaching material play a better role.
