The new curriculum standard advocates us to base on students and cultivate the students' ability to cooperate. The cooperative learning in China has been widely used, but there are still some problems. Information technology is the course that helps cultivating innovation as well as practical skills, but still uses the traditional teaching strategies and models mainly. Therefore, how to stimulate students' interest in learning, and cultivate their ability of cooperation is becoming big challenges of school education.Project-based learning (PBL) is a teaching model that can promote students to cooperate. It has been widely used in other countries, and the results of the study are rich. But in China, the research on PBL is still in its infancy, the studies in theory and practice are weak. Based on that, the thesis combines PBL with cooperative learning and put it into practice. The study is trying to construct a new model in order to enhance the learning effect and promote cooperation.This thesis arrives at the conclusion that PBL can promote cooperation, and it is definitely worth exploring. At the same time, this paper illustrates the theoretical basis and the implements of five-person-group cooperation in Xi'an Tieyizhong Binhe School.This thesis analyzes the status of five-person-group cooperation. According to the analysis of the characteristics of the students and teaching materials, the thesis also integrates PBL with cooperative learning into a new method, and finally designs a teaching scheme. This thesis adopts the method of case study into the teaching experiments and chooses two classes that have no difference in abilities and attitudes. The comparative class uses the original five-person-group cooperation teaching method and the experimental class uses PBL teaching of cooperation method.In accordance with the class observation, interview, evaluation rubric and questionnaires, etc., this thesis compares the learning result, cooperation effect and the development of the abilities. The research suggests that PBL is good for improving students' learning attitude, enhancing the cooperation ability, strengthening the consciousness of cooperation and promoting cooperation.By studying the PBL method in junior middle schools, the thesis, on the one hand, constructs instructional design, analyzes the results about learning and cooperation, on the other hand, analyses the problems in PBL application. The study also provides practical advices for how to apply the PBL in information technology courses.
