Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea in 1992, the number of Korean international students has been increasing, according to the Ministry of Education of China, the statistics show that the number of Korean students in China is top-ranked. At the same time, with hot trend of exchanging between Shanxi and South Korea in recent years, the number of Korean students studying in Xi'an in 2015 reached up to 1500 or so. With the increase in the number of international students, more and more cross-cultural adaptation problems of international students have aroused and attracted people's concern and attention. However, the current domestic researches mostly concentrated on the issues of cross-cultural adaptation of South Korean students in the first tier cities and eastern coastal cities rather than inland areas. Therefore, as the host, we should find out and deeply understand Korean students' cross-cultural adaptation problems and try our best to help them overcome obstacles; Secondly, it provides experiences to Xi'an University of China on teaching management of Korean students and improves the Xi'an studying abroad service level; Finally, this research puts enlightenments on improvement of the degree of internationalization of Xi'an and promotion of exchanges between China and Korea.In order to study cross-cultural adaptation of Korean students in Xi'an University, this paper adopts a combination of empirical investigation, quantitative analysis and qualitative research methods, in the basis of literature analysis method, by specifically using the questionnaire survey method, interview method, and observation method, to study the cross-cultural adaptation of international students in five universities in Xi'an from daily life adaptation, learning adaptation, psychological adaptation and social and cultural adaptation.This paper is divided into three parts, the first part is the first chapter which introduces the basic content of this research, the core concepts and literature review in detail; the second part is the second chapter and the third chapter. Part two focuses on the factors affecting the survey in the study of cross-cultural adaptation. It also analyzes and summarizes feedbacks of questionnaires and interviews on daily life adaptation, learning adaptation, psychological adaptation and social and cultural adaptation to explore basic situations of cross-cultural adaptation of international students in Xi'an universities; The third part is chapter four which provides the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the problems in basis of preceding parts and points out places needed to be improved as well as the focus of future studies. Then, it concludes the whole paper.
