General technology curriculum as an important implementation of technical education, start from the year of 2004, over the years with the development of science and technology changes with each passing day, technology education became play an important role. In high school, students regardless of from the innovation consciousness, scientific concept, the cultivation of creative thinking and ability, cooperative learning, interpersonal practices. At the same time, help them decide the development direction in the future. Therefore, imagination, creativity and logical thinking ability of students in high school, general technology course can provide them with thinking, design, production, enjoy the process of study way, make them through learning, understanding the forefront of the development of science and technology, the present situation of the social development, the requirements of the interpersonal cooperation, the trend of future development, these are all conform to the requirements of the current era of cooperative learning, lifelong learning.The full text can be divided into three parts:The first part:plan. This paper introduces the status of general technology research, under the guidance of theoretical basis, combined with the actual situation of the region, the response the state advocates the developing requirements of technical education, investigation about the present situation of general technology curriculum in Xi'an city, tries to analyze the influence factors of this situation, and put forward the proposal.The second part:implement. According to the actual situation to determine relevant research methods, using the questionnaire method, interview and field trip to the part of high school in Xi'an city to carry on this investigation, using professional software to analysis the result of questionnaire data. It is concluded that the factors influencing the curriculum are schools, teachers and students.The third part:conclusion. Respectively from three aspects:school, teacher, student put forward the improvement strategy, school should improve the identification of the value of the courses, enhance the investment of resources; The specialization and professionalization of teachers should be more professional in teaching; Students should be in the home long support, strengthen the cognition about the course, the study of the course by cultivating their innovative thinking, the ability of practice, cooperative learning, in order to harvest knowledge and ability through the course of learning.Technology education is the international trend and target direction of education development, it also play an important role in the future. Xi'an city as the important area of western region, play a leading role in education, the status of general technology is not only stand for the Shaanxi province but also affect the whole western region. Therefore, it is very important to development the general technology course.
