With the advancement of basic education curriculum reform, the quality of teachers who were fostered under the former teacher education curriculum system can not meet the needs of modern children's development as well as curriculum reform. In order to deepen the reform of teacher education and comprehensively improve the quality of teacher's training, the Ministry of Education promulgated the "Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Promoting the Reform of Teacher Education Curriculum" and "Curriculum Standards for Teacher Education (Trial)" in 2011, and introduced the "kindergarten teacher standards (Trial)" in 2012, which makes an overall policy planning of curriculum reform of teacher education and puts forward "people-oriented", "practical orientation" and "lifelong learning" as the basic concept of teacher education. The curriculum objectives and accountability of teacher education have been clarified according to the characteristics of children's development of all ages.The objective of teacher education curriculum reform is to promote the professional development of teachers and train qualified teachers, and to explore teaching modes fitting for the intellectual development of modern children. Kindergarten education is the foundation of quality education for children, and helps children to receive regular campus life, thus, teachers'professional quality and professionalism exert a direct impact on children's future quality of learning and way of cognition. Arts education is an important field of elementary education among pre-school children, and has great significance for culture and aesthetic habits of children's complete personality. Music education, as an important part of children's art education, is to perform basic quality education in the form of music. Besides meeting the psychological needs and emotional needs of children, it enriches and beautifies the minds of children, fosters children's healthy personality, promotes children's harmonious and happy overall development, and makes music become an indispensable part of children's life.Reform on children's music teaching models of pre-school stage in China is still in a difficult exploration and practice and the teachers'understanding on their own professional quality and professionalism still needs to be improved. Holding the current guidelines of teacher education curriculum reform as its core, this thesis analyzes the education modes in training music teachers in pre-school stage and the current situation of children's music teaching activities according to the author's investigation, explores the existing problems and corresponding reforms strategies by borrowing the world advanced educational philosophy and outstanding domestic and international children's music education theory and practice system, in order to find out curriculum models of pre-school music education for Chinese children in the hope of benefiting the quality education of children's music teachers.
