As everyone knows, the rural education held the key to quality education, related to theall-round development of education. With the new curriculum reform, theimplementation and the development of the music curriculum in primary and secondary schoolshave also been mentioned hitherto unknown height. But due to the lack of teachers in rural areas,low quality of teachers, infrastructure is not perfect and other problems, led to the rural musiceducation is relatively weak, unable to launch the comprehensive reform of the new curriculum inrural primary and secondary school music. The music teacher as a part of the teachers, as the music teaching in rural primary and secondary schools, has a double attribute. Henan Province asa major agricultural province China, earnestly implement the national policy, in2009has recruitednearly thirty thousand primary and middle schools of rural teachers, and put forward again to themusic, sports and other subject teachers supplementary requirements in2012.Nanyang City, Henan province is the largest, most populous agricultural big city, soaccording to music education in Nanyang city of Henan province were studied, usingquestionnaires, interviews, classroom observation, case study method, to music teachers as themain research object, research on the part of rural school music teachers and the local musicteacher, to find the teaching effect of music teachers of rural music education.This paper will be divided into five major parts.The first part is the introduction,describes the reason, the significance of the thesis as well as the research object and researchmethods. The second part of the music teachers in Nanyang city of Henan Province, firstintroduced the special post program content, implementation background, and then the musicteachers, the specific circumstances of the subsidiary of Nanyang county was analyzed, then deepinto the influence of music teachers of rural music education idea, the teaching way. The third part,combining with the concrete content of questionnaire and interview, the present situation of themusic education in rural music teachers are facing, summarizes the problems encountered, fromthe policy, the traditional concept, the music education of rural investment and rural studentsbased on several aspects, find out the factors to influence the value of music teachers. The fourthpart, this article in view of the above problems, put forward suggestions to the society, theeducation department and the music teachers. Finally, a summary of this paper.I hope to pass to the present situation of the music teacher’s understanding, found problems in music education in rural primary and secondary schools, in order to further strengthenand perfect the policy, increase investment, pay attention to, encourage the students to participatein the rural music teaching, in various ways to provide space for development for music teachersof special post, in order to better development of rural music education.
