As a member in the large family of teachers,preschool teachers are often overlooked.Preschool teachers carry expectations from all sectors of the community and undertake various roles,but their roles are easy to be conflicting or ambiguous.What is the current status of preschool teachers' role maladjustment and what exactly cause the imbalance? This paper reveals the current status and influencing factors of preschool teachers' role maladjustment from the perspective of sociology,adopting the methods of literature analysis and questionnaire survey to study the role maladjustment of 363 preschool teachers in Guangzhou City.Conclusions are as follows:1.Preschool teachers' role maladjustment is widespread,among whom unmarried preschool teachers with the age under 20 years old,no kids and technical secondary degree are bearing the most serious maladjustment.2.The relationship between the social structure and the role maladjustment of preschool teachers is extremely significant.For various factors,social prestige,economic income and teachers' right directly affect the degree of maladjustment,among which the greatest impact is social prestige,followed by economic income,and teachers' right is the minimal one.3.There is also a notable relationship between organizational level factor and preschool teachers' role maladjustment.The rules and regulations of kindergarten have a direct impact on the role maladjustment degree.However,the relationship is not so remarkable when it is compared with the social factor and significant others factor.4.Significant others factor shares an important relationship with preschool teachers' role maladjustment.All variables like preschool headmaster,colleagues,families,friends,kids' parents and kids directly affect the degree of teachers' role imbalance,among which the kids is the greatest impact,followed by kids' parents andfamilies,friends as well as colleagues,the minimal factor is preschool headmaster.5.Among factors of social structure,organizational level and significant others,significant others have the greatest influence,the second one is social structure,which is followed by organizational factors.At last,all these influencing factors are discussed and analyzed.
