Allusions are extremely common in Chinese ancient poetry and prose.In the new edition of Chinese textbook for senior high School published by people's education press,taken as an example here,ancient works involved with allusion add up to over 20,with 108 literary quotations in all.Notwithstanding allusions enhance difficulty to the understanding and appreciation of ancient poetry and prose,through thorough and splendid explanation,students can not only better comprehend the theme of works,but also effectively broaden depth and width of the learning of the subject.Therefore,allusion teaching plays an unavoidable role in the teaching of Chinese ancient poetry and prose.Nevertheless,the status of current teaching of ancient works is much worried and has not got enough attention:Whether the Ordinary high school Chinese curriculum standards(tests)or the examination syllabus has never make specific requirements or rules;most teachers and students are only satisfied with the incomplete,omitted annotated explanation in the current textbooks,not to do a further research and expansion;the exam-oriented educational system leads to a trend of stylization and utilitarianism;given the limited studies on methods and practical experience of allusion teaching,hitherto there still lacks a set of effective,scientific,systematic and operable teaching methods to guide our teaching activities.In consideration of the current situation,to obtain deserved value in teaching of allusion,and enable teachers possess more precise teaching basis,the author here carries through the following aspects of research and discussion with the method of documentation,statistics,and case analysis:First,on the basis of concept distinction and classification,make specific statements on connotation and denotation of literary quotations and allusion,which aims to enable teachers to recognize correctly phenomenon in allusion,get rid of the irrespective cases,and clarify the aimed target of teaching of allusion.Meanwhile,extract and purify the artistic effect of allusion,hence,making teachers and students realize the artistic charm and significant value of literary quotations.Second,on account of the multi-angle analysis on the status and causes of teaching of classic poetry and prose in high school,provide a strong realistic pertinence for the presentation of teaching strategies.Third,sort out the application of allusion in classic works Chinese textbook for senior high schoolpublished by people's education press,and put forward with advice of modification based on the existing problems in the explanations in the textbooks.This part will offer valuable reference materials for vast Chinese teachers in high school.Fourth,combining with the specific example in the textbook,come up with some implementation strategies concerning allusion in ancient works,aiming at supplying feasible and highly efficient teaching methods for our teaching.It's important to note that the research focuses on the text of Senior High School Chinese compulsory textbook,but the teaching theory and methods are also suitable for other editions of Senior High School Chinese textbook,even for the Junior Middle School or the relative teaching.
