To classify the teachers'qualification and to promote the teachers'professionalization have not only been the concerns of some international organizations and governments but also been the consentaneous strategy of the world developed countries. Nowadays, a newly reformation of basic education curriculum is being put forward in china under the circumstances of the world education reform. This time the secondary school teacher's professional development confront a more severe challenge and it provide them a new "critical period of growth" as well. In order to focus on this reform we cannot forget rural area and to focus on the rural teacher we must pay attention to their professional development.In recent years we have already made progress on the teachers'professional development. For example, teachers'professional status has been authorized legally. Their living standard has been improved continually. The progress also has been made on the their professional field and diploma level. But in the meantime the underdevelopment of the secondary school teachers'profession( especially the development of the rural teachers'professionalization ) restricts the rural teachers'professional development.This article bases on the investigation of the development of teachers'professionalization in count S, Hebei province, and attempts to view the status of rural teachers'professional development. In the light of this reasonable analysis we try to come to the conclusion of what influence the development of rural teacher and offer some constructive suggestions to support the practice of the rural teachers'professional development. May it be helpful to this newly basic education reform as well.
