Heilongjiang Province University Student Digital Literacy Survey Report

With the advent of mobile internet era,network information has given new impetus to the change in the study,work and lifestyle of many people.Moreover,it has also placed a higher demand on their comprehensive ability to collect,process,evaluate,utilize and innovate in a variety of information.This ability is also referred to as the information literacy which has become a popular research topic in China.It consists of the information awareness,information knowledge,information skill and information morality.At present,great achievements related to the research into information literacy have been made in China.With the progress of the times,the concept of information literacy has gradually changed into digital literacy.Compared with information literacy,digital literacy has embraced a wider range of content and also set a higher standard on those people' s ability.In the era of digitization,each citizen should have the excellent digital literacy.As the reserve force for national development,college students should make more efforts to improve their digital literacy.Based on the literature review,this paper has combined theoretical analysis and empirical study to conduct a questionnaire about the current status of digital literacy among those college students in Heilongjiang Province.The comparative research and statistical analysis on the survey results will be also made.In this paper,SPSS statistical software has been utilized to process the statistical data.After summarizing the current status of digital literacy among those college students in Heilongjiang Province,this paper has also analyzed the internal cause and external cause at a deep level.Moreover,some countermeasures aimed to improve the digital literacy among those college students in Heilongjiang Province have been proposed.It is hoped that this paper can help those college students in Heilongjiang further improve their digital literacy.
