The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO)“The International Commission on Education in the 21 st century” has put “”in the core status of the Education in the 21 st century in a report issued in April 1999--‘Learning the Treasure Within'.The study of learning strategies,which has great theoretical guiding significance and practical significance,has become a top issue among the hottest issues in Education Psychology from both abroad and at home.This article is based on this background.It focuses on the research and analysis of the learning strategies of mathematics among high school students.The main content of this thesis is:In the first chapter,it proposes the significance of studying mathematics' learning strategies and the research situation of mathematics' learning strategies.It also made deeper thinking of further research.In the second chapter,it focuses on the discussion and studying of the research of mathematics' learning strategies and defines the connotation of mathematics' learning strategies.It categorizes the structures of mathematics' learning strategies into mathematical cognitive strategies,metacognition strategy of mathematics,mathematics resource management strategies based on the analysis of the compositions included in learning strategies which was done by Markkanen.The third chapter is the illustration of the design of the research,which illustrates the purpose of the research,the main method applied in the research,tools used in the survey and the survey respondent.It has developed a questionnaire survey among the students in senior high school in the six senior high schools in Song Jiang District,and has got first-hand data of the mathematics learning strategies among senior high school students.The fourth chapter is developed from the following aspects through analyzing and studying the result of the questionnaires: investigation of the differences of math learning strategies among the four groups;related analysis on math learning strategies and math achievements;the levels of math learning strategies and their influences on math achievements.In chapter five,it draw conclusion as following:(1)After analyzing the variance of mathematics learning strategies between males and females,the level of overall mathematics learning strategies has nothing to do with genders.(2)Seen from the results of analyzing,the higher the mathematics learning strategies of high school students is,the better math achievements will be,which means that improving the level of mathematic learning strategies is beneficial to improving math achievements.Especially that the metacognition of mathematics has the biggest and deepest influence on math achievements.Every time the metacognition get a little improvement,related mathematics achievement will be improved.And the metacognition of mathematics is the key factor leading to the changes of mathematics achievements.(3)The analysis and comparison shows that the higher a senior high school student's mathematics achievement is,the more scores he or she gets in monitoring strategy,reflection and adjustment strategy and mood management strategy.These differences suggest that monitoring strategy plays an significant role.(4)The analysis also shows that despite the fact that there exist a positive influence on senior high students' mathematics learning strategies and their mathematic achievements,the positive influence is only 10%.It is a little lower than expected.Ignoring some errors,mathematics learning is still a complex process.Mathematic learning strategies influence mathematics learning result to some extent.(5)The metacognition of mathematics is the direct influencing factor to mathematics learning achievements,but it is only moderate effect.However,cognitive strategy and resource management strategy have indirect influence on mathematics learning achievements.They all influence mathematics achievements through metacognitive strategy.
