In the process of junior high school mathematics learning, mathematics academic performance has always been the focus of attention, and the effective use of mathematics learning strategies plays an important role in improving students' learning efficiency, reducing their burden, improving students' core literacy, and cultivating mathematics learning.Cultivating mathematics learning strategies is one of the important means to promote students to learn to learn. Therefore, mathematics learning strategies have received more and more attention from people, and there are more and more researches on mathematics learning strategies and mathematics academic performance. The question to be studied in this article is "How does the mathematics learning strategy of junior high school students affect academic performance?" This question is divided into two sub-questions: What is the current status of the use of mathematics learning strategies of junior high school students? How does the mathematics learning strategy of junior high school students affect academic performance? In order to solve the two sub-problems,this article uses the literature method and the survey method to conduct a questionnaire survey on 585 students and nine students conducted interviews from the first to third grades of two middle schools from three aspects: mathematical cognitive strategies, mathematical meta-cognitive strategies, and mathematical resource management strategies. And used SPSS and EXCEL software to analyze the application status of junior high school students' mathematics learning strategies and its impact on mathematics academic performance, and obtained:The application of mathematics learning strategies of junior high school students is at the upper-middle level, and the level of application of mathematics learning strategies from high to low is mathematics meta-cognitive strategies, mathematics cognitive strategies, and mathematics resource management strategies;students in different schools use math learning strategies There is not much difference, but there is a slight deficiency in the application of organizational strategies and external support strategies;the first grade and third grade students' level of using mathematics learning strategies is higher than that of second grade students, and there are significant differences;male and female students have different emphasis on using mathematics learning strategies.Girls focus on using retelling strategies, adjusting reflection strategies, and environmental management strategies.Boys are better at using finishing strategies, adjusting reflection strategies, and diligently managing strategies; The application level of mathematics learning strategies of students in the high group is higher than that of the general group and the low group, and there are significant group differences;the influence of mathematics learning strategy on mathematics academic performance shows a significant positive correlation, and the degree of correlation is moderate correlation, mathematics cognitive strategy, mathematics resource management strategies have a direct and positive impact on mathematics academic performance. The impact of mathematics resource management strategies on mathematics academic performance is greater than the impact of mathematical cognitive strategies on mathematics academic performance.Mathematics meta-cognitive strategies use mathematics cognitive strategies and mathematics resources Management strategies have an indirect positive correlation effect on mathematics academic performance.Based on the above analysis, teaching suggestions to improve students' mathematics learning strategies are put forward: use mathematics learning methods flexibly to cultivate mathematics cognitive strategies;formulate mathematics learning plans in time to cultivate mathematics meta-cognitive strategies;use resources rationally to cultivate mathematics resource management strategies.
