Research On Intergenerational Mobility And Transmission Mechanism Of Chinese Households Based On Housing Assets

The problem that the gap between rich and poor is too large,is not only a hot topic of sociology research,but also a hot topic of economics.This paper,from the perspective of housing assets,using the micro-data of China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study in 2011 and 2013,build the elasticity model of intergenerational liquidity of housing assets to measure the size of intergenerational mobility of Chinese society,and build the intergenerational mobility conduction model of housing assets to study the influencing factors of intergenerational conduction strength and their influence rank.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The size of intergenerational mobility elasticity of housing assets of Chinese resident is 0.371 in 2011 and 0.4117 in 2013,which is close to the study on intergenerational mobility of income of other researchers,shows that Chinese social mobility is low.(2)The regional differences of intergenerational liquidity of housing assets show that the elasticity of easten area is higher than western's,indicating that easten area social mobility is low.(3)The differences between urban and rural of intergenerational liquidity of housing assets show that urban areas have higher elasticity than rural areas,indicating that urban social mobility is low.(4)The results of the intergenerational mobility conduction model of housing assets show that the ranking of the urban and rural area type,the degree of eudcation for undergraduates and above,and whether the father of the state organs of the party organizations and business leaders,the eastern and western regions and the son's financial assets.In order to promote social mobility and slow down social solidification,the government needs to take corresponding measures to ensure that the majority of the residents have house to live,achieve the goal of “One shall have his peace of mind when he possesses a piece of land”,and strive to ensure the equality of housing distribution.In addition,we should also adhere to the education-based,centuries of tree country's plans to improve the overall cultural quality of the people,universal public education,and strengthen the elite education.At the same time,there is a need to try to implement viable political reforms and weaken the power of rent-seeking behavior.All kinds of meatures is to reduce the intergenerational transfer of housing assets,to achieve social opportunities for fairness,promote the fair and efficient relationship between the harmonious development of dialectical unity.
