Along with the constant development in this era,education continues to be refreshed and upgraded.As the foundation of children education,Primary School Education plays the very critical role to the children's lifelong growth and development.Different countries have their different emphasis in Primary School Education.Through the comparison study on the Primary School Education between China and Britain,we can understand their respective advantages in the format of classroom teaching,content,methodology,approach and etc.The purpose is to advocate the best practice from other countries and to improve the quality of our domestic classroom teaching.This will also refresh and extend the education mindset of our teachers to better enhance the quality of the China Primary School Education.In the meanwhile,we can understand the areas of improvement for both countries through this comparison study.With a deep understanding on the pros and cons of the Primary School Education in China and Britain,we will be able to make the best of both worlds.With that,it can further bring the new energy to the China Primary School Education.In recent years,the academic study on classroom teaching is extensive and in-depth which includes the detailed analysis on classroom teaching in varied countries and the study on content standard,teaching methodology and assessment etc.As one of the developed countries,Britain has its unique advantage in the maths teaching.However,so far the systematic comparison research on the maths classroom teaching between China and Britain is still rare.The existing research reference is out of date.This research is aiming to improve the comprehensive comparison analysis on this topic.This study suggests that the teaching model,teaching design and teacher's teaching strategies are different in both China and UK,but the teaching strategies and design are related and consistent with the original cultural background of the two countries.British classroom teaching can better cultivate a good student,while China's teaching is able to make all the students in the class balanced development.The classroom teaching in both countries also has a reference to each other.
