Music is an important part of the field of art in kindergarten's five areas.It has a great value in children's growth and education.Music is not only an auditory art,but also a discipline which can move listener's more senses participate in.It is appealing.Children are lively.They are lack of concentration.With the help of music which is a fun mean of education,we can make the children more concerned,more positive,and more elegant.Children can learn how to cooperate and contact with others in music activities.They can also develop music perception,comprehension,creativity,and receptivity.Music can promote children's physical and mental development in a great harmony way.As a matter of fact,music doesn't play its educational role completely actually.Because some teacher's music literacy is not abundant enough.Their educational concepts are backward.And their copy work is heavy.All of the above reasons make the content and forms of music activities are monotonous.Meanwhile,the quality of teaching is limited.Synesthesia comes from psychology.It refers to the interaction among various senses.On one hand,the application of synesthesia in children's music activities can move more children's senses participate in the activities,which can promote multisensory development.On the other hand,through the mobilization of children's multisensory participation can make children more concerned,so that children can perceive and experience music deeply.The application of synesthesia in children's music activities not only meet the requirements of the State Education Department,but also is an effective music teaching method.Synesthesia can also be used throughout the life of children.In the music,children can cultivate their interests in music,develop their musical abilities,achieve their physical and mental development.Consequently,it is of great value to study the application of synesthesia in children's music activities and lives.In this paper,I use observational method to observe the contents and forms of traditional music activities,the problems in teachers and children's behaviors.I analyze the causes of the problems in music activities by using case study and interviewing teachers and parents.Meanwhile,I illustrate the feasibility of the application of synesthesia in music activities.After the music activities,I have proved that it is effective to apply the synesthesia to children's music activities through the analysis of the evaluation results of children's musical abilities.Combined with the experimental results analysis,I put forward to some synesthesia implementation strategies in auditory and visual synesthesia,auditory and dynamic synesthesia,and multi-sensory synesthesia.
