Scientific method is the system theory and method to correct scientific studies,which is created on the basis of the effective rules,approaches and means to understanding and changing the world.Curriculum reform requires that we should enhance the education of scientific method so as to meeting the aim of "process and method" proposed by curriculum standard.Scientific method education is one of important aspects of modern science education,which is the important way to help students understand the scientific process and scientific nature,and to format scientific spirit and to improve scientific literacy.The education of scientific methods is favorable to cultivate middle school students' scientific literacy.Exercises are the important part of chemical textbooks,which have their special functions and embodies the characteristics of chemistry discipline.However whether exercises contain the chemical scientific method and can we use exercises to conduct scientific method education? Based on the exercise in exercise book of Shanghai chemistry textbook as the research object and correlative studies,the author have set up the scientific method analysis tool which is suitable for exercises and carried on the corresponding analysis and research.From the perspective of the scientific method,the author found the scientific method reflected the advantages and disadvantages in the exercise and put forward high school chemistry exercise in the embodiment of the scientific method education in compiling principles.The results show that:(1)most of the exercises in the exercise book of Shanghai chemistry textbook reflect the scientific method,and the scientific method embodies a wide range.(2)the application of scientific methods in different types of knowledge is different.(3)exercises mostly require students to use the method of logical thinking to seek some answers,will often fall into thinking training mode based on chemistry,and there is no exercise showing the whole process of scientific research completely.This study has a certain reference value for the analysis of exercises from the perspective of scientific methods,and it is helpful to the development of the exercises compiling in the senior high school.
