The new physics curriculum reform emphasis on the scientific method education, and treats "process and method" as one of the three-dimensional curriculum goals. It emphasizes that students should be trained by scientific methods, scientific thinking, scientific attitude and scientific style. And through developing the students’ ability of scientific thinking, analysis and problem solving skills, students will form the ability of lifelong learning. To implement education of physics scientific method has obvious discipline advantage in the high school physics teaching, and it is also an important part of physics teaching.The education of Physics scientific method means permeate and teach students the methods of physical science on purpose and consciously, make the student influenced and trained by scientific methods constantly, and gradually understand and master the basic and common methods of physical science. The implementation of the physics scientific method education is conducive to promote students to grasp the physical knowledge, to cultivate students to develop the ability of discovering problems, analyzing and solving problems, and to improve students’ scientific literacy and cultivate students’innovation ability.The new curriculum reform attaches great importance to the scientific method education. But many middle school physics teachers are still confused at many problems of physics scientific method education in the process of practical teaching. In order to solve this situation, this article drafted to systematically discuss the issues on the significance, principles, contents, implementing ways and strategies of the scientific method education, which is implemented in high school physics teaching under the new curriculum reform. It aims at offering help for the middle school physics teachers in teaching practice. In this paper, the research methods are literature analysis, case analysis, questionnaire investigation and interview method. This paper mainly discusses the following several parts:The first part mainly analyzes the background of the research and the significance of carrying out physics scientific method education under the new curriculum reform.The second part systematically expounds the related theory and meaning of scientific method education from a macro level.The third part expounds the relevant theories of physics scientific method, including the connotation of physics scientific method, classification and the common physics scientific method.The fourth part discusses and summarizes the goals, implementation way, penetrating strategy, effectiveness evaluation of physics scientific method education in high school. Analyze the goal, making basis and level of physics scientific method education specifically. Discuss the implementation principles and ways of physics scientific method education in detail. Explore positively on how to develop the effectiveness evaluation of physics scientific method education.The fifth part is mainly about the investigation and analysis of the current situation of physics scientific method education in high school. It is excepted to have a general understanding of the scientific method education, find out the existing problems, and puts forward the corresponding suggestions.The author considers that in order to implement physics scientific method education, we need to continue to discuss on the issues such as the construction of teaching material, teacher training and educational environment.
