The Learning Interest Scale for Senior High School Students in Physics is revised.And the revised edition consists of interest level scale,lying scale and validity item.The interest level scale is composed of 28 items which form 6 dimensions including “knowledge transfer and application”,“devotion to learning”,“seeking for extensive knowledge”,“cognition of cause and effect”,“operating experiments” and “overcoming difficulties”.The typicalness survey of items by educational experts and measurement analysis show that the revised scale has good discrimination,internal consistency reliability,and the content validity,construct validity and related validity of the scale is also ideal.The status of learning interest in physics of the high school students in Shandong Province is investigated utilizing the revised scale.And the interest norm of physics learning is set up in accordance with the survey data.As a whole,students' interest levels follow a normal distribution roughly.And the levels of 6 interest factors are not in complete accord.The factor of “operating experiments” is at a high level while the level of “overcoming difficulties” is under the moderate level.And the levels of the other factors are almost similar and above the moderate level.Relationships between learning interest and influence factors are illustrated by gender,grade,and area of hometown.Results show that the interest in physics learning is significantly influenced by gender which boys' learning interest level is significantly higher than girls'.Students' physical learning interest is pretty stable during high school stage because few differences are found in grades.Family geographical factor also h as certain impact on physical learning interest.Students living in big cities are more interested in physics learning.Partial representation of Lawson's Classroom Test of Scientific Reasoning 2000 Chinese version is revised.And the scientific reasoning of senior two students from the school attached to QFNU is examined.Results show that the conservation of mass and volume and the probabilistic thinking of students is well developed.And the proportional reasoning,the control of variables and the hypoth etical-deductive reasoning are not perfect enough.And the correlational thinking needs to be developed.The correlation among learning interest,scientific reasoning and achievement in physics is further examined.Results demonstrate that there is insigni ficant correlation between learning interest and scientific reasoning.The correlation coefficient between learning interest and achievement in physics is about 0.3 which is roughly same as the coefficient between scientific reasoning and achievement in ph ysics.And achievement in physics is much more affected by “knowledge transfer and application”,“devotion to learning”,“seeking for extensive knowledge”,and “overcoming difficulties” in physical learning interest and the hypothetical-deductive reasoning and the correlational thinking in scientific reasoning.
