This stage of life for high school basketball athletes physical development and psychological changes in the larger,faster,less emotional management experience,basketball itself is very strong against collective project,a strong sense of autonomy to come into conflict with others such as emotional distress and psychological problems.Therefore,it is especially important for high school basketball players to improve their ability of emotional management.In this context,the use of rational emotive therapy,high school basketball players emotional management ability of experimental research.The purpose of this paper is to improve the emotional management ability of high school basketball players through the rational emotive therapy,and to provide suggestions and ideas for improving the emotional management ability of high school basketball players.The research process: in Ji'nan city high school basketball team in random to the mountain division high school basketball team,Gao Erhe senior high a total of 24 people,were randomly divided into experimental group and control group of 12 people,through the positive and negative affect scale pre-test before test,to obtain relevant data shows that the experimental group and control group there is no significant difference in emotion management ability.The experimental group and the control group were learning,training and life,the only variable between the two groups was eight weeks each week rational emotive therapy group counseling on the experimental group,the two group does not interfere with other factors.Carefully meet,mood,emotion,drying into the scene,"expressing mood,anger can also stop,happiness is actually very simple,the release of eight different theme charm for the future course of the system,the experimental group of high school basketball players step by step guide,which fully understand the mood to master the techniques and methods of management mood.Then the positive and negative affect scale of experimental group and control group after the test,analysis of test tools for the experimental group and control group before and after the test data test data,experimental group and control group after the data of negative emotions,the use of SPSS data are the two dimensions of emotional discussion and analysis.Conclusion: the experimental group before and after the test in a positive mood,post test scores were significantly higher than the pretest,negative,posttest score was significantly lower than the pretest;control group before and after the test there were no significant differences in the two dimensions of positive and negative emotions;the experimental group and the control group in the post test scores in positive emotion,the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group,while in the negative mood,the experimental group was significantly lower than the control group;illustrate the emotional management ability of rational emotive therapy for high school basketball athletes to enhance the role.
