Life education is not a newly proposed theory,its rise and development has gone through for a long time,Because of the frequent occurrence of the students' life injury events in modern society and the spread of students' sense of emptiness and confusion,people expect some effective and feasible solutions can be used to deal with the various problems of life pathology,therefore,The theory of life education has attracted people's attention again.The purpose of life education is supposed to guide students to cherish life,to establish a correct outlook on life and outlook on life,to pursue the value and meaning of life.However,because of the modern background of life education,life education has not been able to solve the problem of students' life pathology,but it has trapped in a dilemma life physical self preservation and self good life experience instead of the highest value and perfection to be the standard of all value judgment and choice,people has lost the virtue and excellence that he ought to have,and lived a secure but vulgar life.This study is based on the dilemma of life education under the background of modernity and reflects the crisis and problems of life education from the perspective of classical virtue theory.The purpose of this study is trying to change the inappropriate concept of life education,to seek effective solutions,and to realize the human virtue and dignity.This study includes four parts.The introduction is mainly about the origin of the research,the significance of the research,the research status at home and abroad,and the definition of the core concept.The first chapter summarizes the main characteristics of modernity and points out the present situation and the dilemma of life education in the background of modernity: focus on the preservation of life,deny the virtue of human life;concerned about life experience,the value of life becomes meaningless.The second chapter starts from the virtue of ethics,an important branch of ethics points out that the recovery of virtue has become the trend of moral philosophy and ethics that can not be ignored,then through the discussion of the relationship between virtue and life to prove that life oriented morality is possible andshould be the new way of life education.The third chapter is to discuss how to carry out the life education that towards the virtue,and put forward suggestions from four aspects.
