Ancient poetry is an important carrier for spreading Chinese traditional culture. It contains strong literary heritage and deep cultural connotation, which is conducive to cultivating students' language literacy and humanistic feelings. The ancient poems selected in high school Chinese textbooks are classic classics with both quality and beauty, which not only can enrich students' reading experience, but also play an important role in cultivating students' aesthetic taste and appreciation of taste. They have always been important in high school Chinese teaching content. However, the current status of classroom teaching of ancient poetry in high school is not optimistic. The entire classroom teaching is still dominated by teachers, and students are passively receiving knowledge infusion. It is difficult for students to experience individualized poetry.Aiming at various problems in current teaching, this article attempts to use the theory of acceptance aesthetics to explore the classroom teaching of ancient poetry in high school.Receptive aesthetics puts readers at the center of literary reading and emphasizes that readers have a subjective role in the construction of text meaning. This provides a theoretical basis for establishing students' subjective status in the teaching of ancient poetry, and attaches importance to the individual interpretation of ancient poetry. In this paper, the ancient poetry in high school is put under the relevant theories of acceptance aesthetics to examine, combining the specific texts and teaching practice of ancient high school poetry,to explore practical teaching strategies. The main body of the thesis is divided into three parts. The first part summarizes the related theories such as "reader center","expecting horizon","calling structure",and "horizontal integration" of acceptance aesthetics, and discusses the inspiration of receiving aesthetics theory to the teaching of ancient poetry in high school. The second part: Investigation and analysis of the current situation of the teaching of ancient poetry in high school. It is found that there are some problems in the teaching of ancient poetryin high school: students lack initiative, students' vision of reading is not wide, learning effects are not ideal, and traditional teaching methods are still the main problems.Examining and analyzing the theory of acceptance aesthetics,it is found that the reasons are the lack of student's subject status, narrow expectation of vision, the absence of text-calling structure, and the difficulty of fusion of multiple perspectives, resulting in low teaching efficiency of teachers and students' little gain.Part III: Exploring practical teaching strategies based on the "reader center","expecting horizon","calling structure",and "horizontal fusion" theory of acceptance aesthetics, combining specific high school ancient poetry texts and teaching practices: First,Based on the "Reader Center",we repositioned the role of the classroom and established the student's subjective status;secondly, based on the "Expectation Horizon",stimulated students' interest in learning ancient poetry, awakened students' expected expectations, and cultivated students' innovative expectations;again, based on the "calling structure",To fill the gaps in the structure of ancient poetry, and awaken students to the meaning of ancient poetry;finally, based on "fusion of perspectives",open various forms of dialogue and exchange to achieve the improvement of student quality.
