Extensive promotion of quality education is important in today's modern society.Musical education in primary school has a significant impact on the development of students' overall capability. It plays a noticeable status in economic and social development. Musical education in primary school is an essential component of the basic educational system and it plays an irreplaceable function in the development of students' capability in art. Moreover,teacher is the implementer of the nation's basic education strategies and directions as well as the person carrying out the physical delivery of musical education. Having an innovative ability in education and teaching directly impacts on the quality of musical teachers and classroom teaching. It has a significant impact on teachers' art of classroom teaching.Based on the curriculum concept, curriculum design and curriculum contents of the ”Compulsory musical education curriculum standards (2011)", the author of this thesis researched the primary school teacher's musical innovation capability and the creativities in classroom teaching. This research thesis incorporated the basic situation of music teachers in Li shui primary schools, the teacher's current status on aspects of innovation in classroom teaching such as facilities of school education situation, the frequency of organizing teacher trainings and their impacts on the primary school music teacher's innovative capability. The author will utilize the research results from actual classroom teaching as the evidence for certification and analysis.From the current status of classroom teaching, primary school music teachers are still lacking innovation in teaching concepts, teaching mode and teaching methods.From subjective and objective factors of the existing problems, the author puts forward relevant countermeasures to enhance the teaching innovative capacity of primary school music teacher. In addition, the author also incorporates the actual cases of classroom teaching and the requirements of curriculum standard to evaluate the innovative teaching capability of primary school music teachers.This research thesis hopes to improve primary school music education through researching into the innovation capability of the music teachers in primary school.And thus to enhance ongoing innovative practical activities to continuously improve the quality of teaching; to improve the students' interest in study, and ultimately, the primary school's music education subject will be able to play a better value in the overall quality training of students.
