| Social practice is a bridge between school and society. It is an important way for college students to get in touch with the society and it has irreplaceable significance for the all-round development of College students. Since the reform and opening up,more and more attention has been paid to the function of social practice. College Students’ social practice in summer vacation occupies an important position in the practice of university education because it’s the social practice that time is the most concentrated, content is the most abundant and participation is the highest. It’s not only helpful to complete the mechanism of talents cultivation in colleges and universities, but conducive to the enrichment of practical education theory.This study uses the method of the combination of theoretical research and empirical research to the case study of N school. The relevant data collected in summer vacation social practice of college students through the questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews were summarized and analyzed from three aspects of college, teachers and students, so as to find the problems of college students’ summer vacation social practice. And put forward some suggestions and countermeasures for its future development.The study found that N schools pay more attention to college students’ summer vacation social practice, students’ cognition of the importance of summer vacation social practice is more rational, the motivation to participate in practice is more clear and the content and situation of the practice is more abundant. But there are also many problems: First, the lack of school publicity, early training, funding support and the assessment mechanism is not so public. Second, the composition of teachers is unreasonable and some teachers’ attitude for summer vacation social practice is positive; Third, students’ subject consciousness is not strong and behave passively.Aiming at the above problems, the study put forward some countermeasures on colleges and universities, teachers and students, such as strengthen the early training of summer vacation social practice, improve the incentive mechanism strengthen the summer social practice early training,improve the incentive mechanism (including the improvement of colleges and universities, teachers and students), establish fair and effective evaluation mechanism and so on. It also puts forward the assumption of establishing the linking mechanism of basic education and higher education. |
