In daily school life, excellent students who have excellent academic performance or whose performance is moderate and excellent in the eyes of the teacher is usually subject to special care and preferential treatment. In order to know and analyze this problem deeply, the qualitative research method was adopted in this paper. The phenomenon of preferential treatment of excellent students in X class C primary school was researched from a moral perspective. Also, the observation, interviews and other methods were used to present the real situations of excellent students who were offered better treatments. Moreover, the reasons and moral consequences of offering preferential treatments to the excellent students were analyzed in order to evoke the accustomed to the preferential treatment of excellent students phenomenon of concerning and reflection.This paper can be divided into five parts. The first part introduced the reasons of selecting the topic, the present research situation and the whole research frame. Also the author’s research design was presented and the story between the author and students in X class was told. The seond part of the more detailed description of the X class four excellent students of the basic situation and their respective preferential treatment of the real state. The subjective and objective reasons of preferential treatment to excellent students were analyzed in part three. The objective reasons contain the concept of elitist education, the social stratification of the survival of the fittest, the utilitarian value orientiation of the teacher’s scores are the absolute principles, the stereotype of excellent students who are offered preferential treatment are students of excellent academic pennance and morality, acquisition and reproducation of teacher’s words and expressions by peer group and the communication model of "strong combination". The subjective reasons are mainly excellent students with their owan positive characters and good family environments.The fourth part analyzed the moral influence of preferential treatment of excellent students phenomenon on the growth of excellent students and other ordinary students in X class from the perspective of moral education. The fifth part of the X class preferential treatment of excellent students had been rethought and put forward the relevant recommendations, including the creation of the development of teacher evaluation system, establish a correct view of the students, cultivate students’ care,practice education justice, the pursuit of excellence, strengthen the family’s physical and mental function.
