As a basic subject,mathematics plays an important part in personal education,and it runs through the whole nine-year compulsory education.What's more,mathematics has became a basic course of many subjects even in higher education period.So it is obvious that mathematics is of vital importance in our education.Nowadays the study of mathematics in elementary is mainly based on classroom teaching by presenting knowledge in simple and mechanical ways.But in some degree,this can easily reduce students' enthusiasm or interest in learning mathematics.However,if we can teach mathematics by presenting mathematical culture,students will be more interested in learning mathematics.So this paper will mainly focus on how to present mathematical culture which is based on several examples of a primary school in Shibei District,Qingdao.This paper is written to study whether there is mathematical culture in primary schools and how to carry out the static construction of mathematical culture.There are four parts included in this paperThe first part is introduction.To state the source,the meaning,the situation,the research methods and the objects of this subject.The second part is the presentation of relevant theories.This part will define the concepts of school culture and mathematical culture.It will elaborate the characteristics and value of mathematical culture especially focus on the value of static mathematical.It will also give a theoretical summary of the concept culture,material culture and system culture of mathematical culture.The third part will present the reality of the static presentation of mathematical culture.IT will observe the mathematical culture of the school studied from three aspects including concept,substance and system.The fourth part is reflection and summary.This part will review the reasons why mathematical culture is absent in primary schools and then try to find methods to improve the current situation.
