In China,the history of cultivating Master of Education is not very long.In Tibet Autonomous Region,the history of cultivating Master of Education is even shorter.Research on major curriculum of Master of Education in China is not yet very mature.By adopting the questionnaire investigation method,interview investigation method and literature analysis method,this research surveys the current status of the curriculum goals,curriculum setting,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation of the education of Master of Education degree in Tibet University.After analyzing the survey results and the combining consideration of the interview results of relevant students and the characteristics of Master of Education degree itself,the conclusions of this research are as follows:1.At present,the training plans for Master of Education has its adaptability.The setting of training goal for Master of Education is good for the implementation of the curriculum.2.The curriculum setting for Master of Education degree education in Tibet University is kind of impeccable.The curriculum setting for achieving the curriculum goal has its very positive side,but meanwhile it also brings some problems,for example: the curriculum content is kind of too theoretical to easier understanding,hence its practical and applicable sides need to be improved;the organization and the application of the curriculum content is not yet very ideal and need to be improved;the arrangement of the curriculum structure still has some problems,such as the percentage of the public required course in all courses is high but some necessary courses about teachers' professional ethics and teachers' literacy are not included;the theoretical courses can satisfy the requirements of the master graduate students' education,but the practical courses are comparatively not enough and more scattered.3.About the curriculum implementation,the environment for implementation is supportive,but the implementation result did not achieve the ideal effect.This shown in two aspects: the content of teaching materials is outdated,containing little relevant reading materials concerning professional knowledge;Although teachers know in theory that a diversified mode of classroom teaching method is needy,but in the actual classroom teaching,they usually keep using the simplex teaching mode.4.The process of curriculum assessment is kind of too rigid.The evaluation criterion is relatively monotonous and takes no count of the process evaluation.The evaluation ideology is kind of too exam-oriented.The assessment criterion still need to be specified.Based on the analysis of the above results,combining the consideration of the characteristics of overall development of Master of Education degree,using the Master of Education degree training experience at home and abroad for reference,this article puts forward some corresponding suggestions to solve the existing problems arising from the survey results: firstly,rich the course content and improve the level of applicability and timeliness of the course content;Secondly,optimize the course structure and improve teachers' professional ethics education;Thirdly,improve the teaching,make the teaching content flexible and encourage teaching innovation;Last but not the least,formulate effective evaluation criterion and strengthen the process evaluation.
