Physics is a natural science which is based on experiments.New Curriculum Standard requires that making full use of the inquiry experiment in Physics teaching not only develops students' ability of learning and exploration,but also reflects the characteristics of the subject.During the process of inquiry experiment teaching,students may gain knowledge of Physics,scientific methods and thoughts.Besides,they can form the scientific outlook on life and value.Therefore,It is of great significance in research and practice to study on exploratory experiment teaching.Under the instruction of Bruner theory in cognition,constructivism theory and Dewey's pragmatic theory of experience,the thesis has defined the concept of exploration and exploratory teaching and has summarized the results from home and abroad on inquiry teaching.With the questionnaire,the author carries out investigations on the present situation in Physics teaching in middle school.We can find many Physic teaching strategies and proposals from the Standard for Compulsory Senior Physics Curriculum.At last,the author takes the real example of the Physical experiments to discuss the usage of teaching strategies and test the rationality of them.The paper reflects the present situation of the inquiry teaching in Physics of high school,except that,it also offers some strategies and methods for teacher to carry out the inquiry teaching in Physics.
