Casework Involved In The Study Of Poverty Alleviation In Rural Poor People

At present,China has entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the decisive period of building a well-off society.The main contradiction of our society has been transformed into the contradiction between unbalanced and inadequate development and the people's ever-growing needs for a better life.Poverty alleviation as a prerequisite for a well-off society,has become the nationa ltopic and action.The "Support for social work professionals to participate in poverty alleviation of guidance" issued by The Ministry of Civil Affairs,points out that the fight against poverty requires the participation of all forces of the society.Social workers should take on the corresponding role to help poverty alleviation.The poverty alleviation of the handicapped is confronted with many difficulties and problems,such as large population,poverty level and a lot of obstacles,which is the focus and key of winning the battle against poverty.The essence of poverty is the lack of capacity.Poverty alleviation depends not only on the standard of income,but also on the poverty reduction ability.It is necessary and advantageous to improve the ability of poverty alleviation by means of case work.such as conceptual advantage,method advantage,theoretical advantage.This paper is based on the strength perspective and energy increasing theory,and tries to disscuss the current situation of poverty alleviation and poverty alleviation by means of questionnaires and interviews.We find that the poverty and disability social security is relatively better,but there are many deficiencies and limitations in poverty alleviation.Such as lack of labor,low literacy,lack of skills,lack of confidence in poverty alleviation,weak family and community support systems,weak recovery,and poor accessibility.In order to study further the intervention effect of case work,we choose a typical case and carry out eight professional intervention activities,focusing on four aspects such as improving their skill level,improving mental health,improving the ability of resource linking,and strengthening the family support system.Finally,the conclusion is that improving mental health and establishing poverty alleviation is a prerequisite for poverty alleviation.The social work service should be combined with the existing poverty alleviation mechanism;To give full play to the advantages of the case,targeted skills upgrading is the breakthrough of the improvement of poverty alleviation;The resource link utilization ability of poverty-stricken disabled people is an important guarantee for poverty alleviation.The reflection holds that we should strengthen social work to get involved in the study of poverty alleviation,and strengthen social workers' power to help people out of poverty.
