With the development of The Times,the modern science and technology has been assimilate into the life of our study,we have entered a diversified,informative,and scientific age.In today's art education,the traditional single teaching way already cannot satisfy students' need,the modern education technology' updation provides the art education for a new thought and method.The feature for multimedia(like multi-dimension,multi-function and diversification)has become the favorite for teaching.From the traditional books and the board to the present multimedia as the main means of teaching,great changes have taken place in student's study,it not only provides teachers with rich contents and diversified forms,but also bring the art class to more flexible learning and the teaching method.Although the multi-media teaching provides the good effect in art teaching,it is not in the wide range of applications in art education,and it also remains to be further discussion and research.This paper using the case method,questionnaire survey method etc.,to discuss and analyze the application for multimedia technology in junior middle school's art teaching.This paper is divided into five parts,the first part is the detail introduction for the significance,background and status for research at home and abroad as well as the research's aim and content.The second part is relevant theoretical research,it is the theoretical basis for the research content,including the modern education technology,multimedia,art teaching and introduced the multimedia auxiliary teaching of fine arts,and multimedia teaching software.The third part is the key chapter of this paper,mainly introduces the research methods,research process,And also introduces the application for four plates(modelling,performance,design,application and appreciate,review,comprehension and exploration)in multi-media teaching and art software auxiliary teaching in junior middle school and in the highly professional course(sketch,color,painting,etc.).Through analysis for the classic case,teacher and student questionnaire method,and finally combining his own practice and data analysis to understand the present situation of the application of multimedia technology in middle school of fine arts and the changes brought by multi-media technology.The fourth part mainly gets the conclusion through the research,expounds the application of the limitations in multimedia teaching,and provides some suggestions on the application for teachers who use the multimedia.The fifth part is for the full text summary and the development prospect and trend prediction in multimedia technology in the high school fine arts...
