Research On Optimization Strategy Of Student Management Model In Modern University College

The Modern University Academy Institution is a new type of student management in recent 10 years.According to the characteristics of physical education in higher education and the development of talents training objectives,this new type of student management model is developed by learning from the successful experience of European and American residential Academy Institution and inheriting the fine cultural tradition of the ancient Chinese Academy Institution.The modern university Academy Institution,based on the student dormitory,equipped with the perfect life supporting facilities and concentrated on the construction of the professional education team,exploits the advantages of the tutor system and peer influence to the full.At the same time,this new Academy Institution,focusing on creating a unique college cultural atmosphere to fully encourage students' self education,self management and self service by carrying out rich and colorful courses and activities,is a new model of student community management that cultivates comprehensive quality of students.Xi'an Jiaotong University is one of the first universities in Chinese Mainland to carry out the Academy Institution,which is typical and representative.To analyze the operational management system of Xi'an Jiaotong University in depth,this study is based on the Academy Institution of Xi'an Jiaotong University by applying the documentary method,case study,interviewing and questionnaire method.In the end,three major characteristics of the Academy Institution in Xi'an Jiaotong Universityare concluded:first,Xi'an Jiaotong University Academy Institution is a new type of student life and learning community that is equipped with the professional student management team;second,it is a specialized institution to carry out the second classroom activities and general education;third,it is an institution that encourages students to carry out self education,self management and self service.Besides,by means of interviewing and questionnaire methods,this study further finds out the problems of Xi'an Jiaotong University Academy Institution in the process of operation.By analyzing the causes of these problems,five optimization strategies are put forward:first,formulating Academy Institution Regulations of Xi'an Jiaotong University and strengthening the associated education of the teachers and students under this Academy Institution;second,improving the financial management system and enhancing the financial support of theAcademy Institution;third,bringing the general education courses into the whole school curriculum system and improving the curriculum development and evaluation system of general education;fourth,to properly deal with the relationship among the Academy Institution,the colleges,the school Youth League Committee and other relevant departments in the university;fifth,strengthening the construction of college cultural ideas and making full use of the cultural educational effect.
