Mathematics as an important subject throughout students compulsory education,is highly regarded by schools,families and students.There are many studies on learning interest at home and abroad,but still lack of complete and scientific research methods.The theme "How to Improve Middle School Students' Interest in Mathematics Learning" has attracted much attention in recent years.The lack of mathematics learning interest of junior middle school students is a most important reason not only cause a low performance,but also result in a low quality of teacher's teaching.This paper started from the aspects of educational psychology theory,analyzed and summarized the related literature of mathematics learning interests,divided mathematics learning interests into two categories:individual interest and situational interest.Basis on that,the experimental took 187 students in a middle school in Xi 'an as the research subjects,using interviews,questionnaire survey and other research methods,respectively discussed the factors influencing the individual interest and situational interest in students' mathematics learning.Junior middle school students mathematics learning individual interest includes two factors:self-efficacy and age,junior middle school students mathematics learning situational interest includes two factors:family and school.Among them,the school factor includes mathematics teachers in the teaching activities of reference of the history of mathematics,the application of modern education technology and teacher gender these three factors,family factor includes the cultural degree of parents and the degree of parents'concerned about the children learn math these two factors.This paper analyzed the factors that affect the interest of mathematics in junior middle school students by investigating the above factors,and give some suggestions accordingly,at the same time also hopes that through the study of junior high school students' interest in learning mathematics relevant factors to today's mathematics education to contribute a little.The following conclusions are obtained through research:In accordance with.the low,medium and high three levels,junior middle school students mathematics learning interest levels were 7%,25%and 68%,this can be roughly explain the current majority of junior middle school students mathematics learning interest in the status quo.There is a significant positive correlation between math learning interest and math learning self-efficacy;differences are significant in the math learning interest between boys and girls;with the rise of the student grade,the math learning interest will be slightly increased,self-efficacy is also true;the infiltration of knowledge of mathematical history in teachers' classroom teaching and the application of modern mathematics education technology in classroom will be a help to improve the students' math learning interest,and students like male mathematics teachers rather than female mathematics teachers.Parents' educational level has little effect on children's math learning interest,but the degree of parents concern about children to learn mathematics will affect the child's interest in math learning in some extent.The innovation of this paper is to investigate and study whether the factors of teacher sex will affect the math learning interest of junior middle school students,and explores the relationship between students' self-efficacy and learning interest in mathematics learning;the relationship between students' grade and mathematics learning interest and self-efficacy;the influence of mathematics teachers in the teaching activities of reference of the history of mathematics,the application of modern education technology and teacher gender these three factors on mathematics learning interest;the influence of parents' educational level and the degree of parents concern about children to learn mathematics on mathematics learning interest,and put forward a series of suggestions to enhance the interest of junior middle school students in mathematics learning.
