| The Ministry of Education issued a“Foundation Education Curriculum Reform(trial implementation)”in June 2001,proposing that the situation should be changed on account of the too centralized-managerial system,replacing it with three-level managerial system of curriculum,enhancing the adaptability tO local,school and students.Since then,as a research hotspot in the field of basic education,the school-based curriculum development and management have extended in our country,both primary and secondary schools go on the extensive exploration and practice of school-based curriculum construction,and carrying on the useful trial of school-based textbooks simultaneously.School-based textbook is kind of teaching material designed by teachers under guidance of the new curriculum standards,for purpose of improving the effect of school-based curriculum and promoting students’ individual development in consideration of school characteristics construction and students’major demands.Higher requirements are put forward on account of the timeliness and guidance on values of the subject of ideological and political curriculum.The school-based textbooks of ideological and political curriculum have made great advance as the supplement,extension and expansion of national textbooks.School-based teaching materials are more appropriate and flexible compared with national ones,which enable them to strengthen the distinguishing qualities of running schools,promote teachers’ professional development,offer assistance for students’personalized growth and all-round development,and provide carrier for the school-based courses.While,there are problems need to be solved regarding the role of main parts of development,the selection of content,the forms design of teaching materials and the actual operating effect of evaluation after years of practice,requiring more specific measures to improve the quality of school-based textbooks.A large amount of research regarding school-based curriculum have been carried on by many scholars at home or abroad,with fruitful results achieved.However,there are fewer studies about the development of school-based textbooks,especially from ideological and political curriculum perspective.Given this,there are analyses of problems and constraints during the development of school-based textbooks in this article,and explore the effective approaches to improve the quality of these materials from the perspective of ideological and political curriculum,with the purpose of supplementing the existing research,and improving the actual effect of school-based teaching materials of high school.The main innovations of this thesis include:the consistency and complementary on educational objective between unified and school-based textbooks have been put forward clearly,for discussing various modes of presentation of school-based teaching materials on this basis.Second,core accomplishments of ideological and political education are emphasized to guide the selection of material content.The third one is that the limitation has been weaken of traditional textbook definition,informational materials such as micro learning resources and e-text are added to enrich the forms of school-based textbooks and reduce the cost simultaneously,insuring the maximized utility of them.There are five parts compose this article:Part One,Introduction.In this part,we will explain the background,theoretical and practical values of this research,review domestic and foreign research situation,learn more about the tendency and limitations of existing researches,and determine the general ideas and methods of this research accordingly.We will also give you definitions of core concepts related to this text,such as textbook,school-based textbook,teaching material of ideological and political curriculum and school-based teaching material of ideological and political curriculum,etc.Part Two,Current Situation.This part covers the developing status of school-based textbooks of ideological and political curriculum in Xi’an,Shaanxi Province,There is relatively comprehensive overview of efforts have been made to develop and apply of school-based textbooks from content,form and analysis of its actual effect perspective of these educational materials.Part Three,Problems And Constraints.Further details are provided about the current situation of school-based educational materials by means of questionnaires and semi-structured interviews.Point out the main problems from the following four aspects-developers,planning and designing process,using procedure and evaluation supported by survey data,give an analysis in the meantime.Part Four,Advancement Strategies.This section proposes corresponding promotion strategies for enhancing the actual effect of school-based textbooks on the basis of existing problems pointed out in the third part.Multiplicity of developers are emphasized from the perspective of development team,pay attention to the integrity of those textbooks during design procedure,give full expression to flexibility in the process of using,advocate preciseness and comprehensiveness when evaluating.Part Five,Conclusion.This part will review and summarize this thesis,including the main points,deficiency and future research prospects in next phase. |
