Geographical Research On Traditional Villages In Southern Shaanxi

Traditional village as a continuation of the rural settlements,is the crystallization of the history of agricultural civilization for thousands of years,and is the traditional culture of the Chinese nation's history,with rich historical and cultural values.As one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization in southern Shaanxi Province,retaining many distinctive local characteristics and diversity of architectural culture of traditional villages,the formation of the unique natural and cultural landscape in southern Shaanxi Province.So the traditional village through the geography research,improve our understanding of the traditional villages,formulate effective policies and measures to protect traditional village.In this paper,through literature analysis,system data,the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to collate data of 98 traditional villages in southern Shaanxi Province,started a comprehensive study of the geography of traditional villages in southern Shaanxi Province.The thesis is divided into three parts:Through the review of related research of traditional villages and rural settlements,formation of traditional villages in southern Shaanxi region outlined the natural environment and social and cultural background,in southern Shaanxi of complex and varied terrains and migrants to the region of great impact.Through the national directory of traditional village information system and the Chinese traditional villages of four lists,the sorting of the list of the first batch of traditional village in Shaanxi Province.the traditional village in southern Shaanxi,the southern Shaanxi traditional villages from time,spatial statistical analysis and other factors,the traditional villages are mainly built in the Qing Dynasty,and concentrated in the Shangluo area and health,and in Shiquan County,Xunyang County,the number two at most.From the convenience of transportation,natural environment adaptability,landscape meritability,geomantic culture influence impact of four characteristics to explore the traditional village location.Analysis of the traditional villages in southern Shaanxi to be integrated when considering the impact of natural and human environment.Finally,from the traditional village size and population,analyze the relationship between terrain data and system,through the literature on the 73 administrative villages to sort out the relevant information,the influence of the traditional village by terrain,the number is in 500 to 1999 between the number of the Medium villageand the village is relatively small;village covers an area of 500 acres to the number of the following main scale villages most affected by topography is larger,smaller villages.Through the Google earth satellite map and CorelDraw software of Southern Shaanxi traditional village overall layout drawing,and divide the strip,massive,hash layout three types,through an example to demonstrate the analysis of each type of village form.The change of village morphology is influenced by the natural environment and social and economic development conditions.Influence on Architecture and its style in the traditional village from natural factors and cultural factors such as immigration,the traditional residential buildings in southern Shaanxi divided into stone building,courtyard building,stilted building,rammed earth buildings and through the analysis of the typical traditional buildings in the villages to demonstrate.Innovation of this paper is:the traditional village in southern Shaanxi as a whole to carry on comprehensive research in the perspective of historical geography.From the perspective of historical geography in southern Shaanxi natural and social conditions affecting development and evolution of traditional village,focusing on the natural environment of traditional villages in southern Shaanxi size,shape and style influences.
