Homosexuality has a long history in both China and foreign countries. In today's society, more and more homosexuality is regarded as a normal social phenomenon because of the progress of thought and the inclusion of culture. But the traditional culture and feudal ideology still have influences on people's attitude towards homosexuality and their marriage in China now,and the "homosexual-straight marriage" made up of gay men and heterosexual women has become a special marriage mode, and the heterosexual women in this special marriage are called the Gays' Wives.Due to the development of Internet era and Internet community, the situation of gays' wives has been gradually recognized by the public. They are in a disadvantaged position in the family, difficult to identify in the social culture, and difficult to seek judicial relief. The cause of this phenomenon is multifaceted. The first reason is the influence of traditional patriarchy. The second is the difference of social gender identity. The third is that social culture still has a stigmatization of homosexuality. And the last is the lack of effective means to deal with the problem of homosexuality in the current judicial practice. In view of the problems arising from the group of wives,it is necessary to give full play to the spirit of helping people to save themselvesin social works, and to use social work methods to arouse the self-consciousness of the group of the gays' wives. And we should use the new methods and new approaches of network social works, take good advantage of the exemplary effect of the gays' wives case to advocate more public attention and participation. We should jointly promote the solution of social problems and social and cultural progress.
