Situational teaching is a kind of education method which is based on situation and aims to stimulate students' interest in learning.This method emphasizes that students learn knowledge through the process of “discovery-analysis-answer” under the guidance of The teachers in a specific situation,develop good thinking habits of cognitive things,and carry out relevant knowledge and methods,practice.The use of situational teaching methods in primary school dance classes can enhance students' enthusiasm for participating in artistic practice,and enable students to achieve a two-way development of knowledge and skills in an integrated manner,and gradually develop students' abilities in association,imagination,and comprehensive use.This article mainly focuses on the practice of practical lesson examples in classroom teaching.Through literature research methods,observation methods,and case studies,the paper analyzes the practical significance of contextual teaching methods in the practice and implementation of primary school dance classes.Taking the "small alarm clock" as a case,it analyzes the characteristics of situational teaching and its effect on students' cognition.It sums up and summarizes the value of situational teaching for primary school dance education.The study found that the teaching of dance situations breaks the traditional teaching model that focuses on teaching.In the interest of students,the excitation of classroom atmosphere,and the divergence of students' creativity and imagination,the traditional dance teaching model has unparalleled advantages.In the future,with the further exploration and application of "situation teaching" theory,dance classroom teaching will show a more broad and free development trend.
