In today's language reading teaching,many language teachers are accustomed to introducing new backgrounds when teaching new texts.I believe that many language teachers have encountered the use of background knowledge to promote reading in the process of learning exchange and even open classes.The introduction of background knowledge,so that it is combined with the text teaching,together in the classroom,is to help students absorb knowledge to improve reading comprehension one of the important factors.Teachers through the introduction of background knowledge in order to achieve the goal of improving the quality of teaching to enhance students' interest in learning and expand the breadth of knowledge,this teaching model has gradually become a language teacher teaching activities of a stereotypical move.So,is the introduction of background knowledge really as our teachers expect,to students in the course of learning to play a positive role in promoting the text;or become out of the literary literacy of the icing on the cake.This paper will introduce the background knowledge of the teaching background and the present situation of teaching,explain the importance of background knowledge,put forward its own core concept-background knowledge,combined with " Interpersonal Perception of the world",Ausabal 's advance organizer theory,Bruner's structuralism curriculum view and the utilization of acceptance the application of aesthetic theory to " background knowledge " for some interpretation.The purpose is to provide a new breakthrough perspective for the introduction of background knowledge in reading teaching.On the basis of the comprehensive interpretation of the concept of "background knowledge",the application of background knowledge in reading teaching has become the focus of this paper.This paper attempts to explore the use of background knowledge in reading teaching from two aspects of way and timing of background knowledge.Through the use of certain strategies to promote the use of background knowledge in reading teaching,we can read the background Knowledge introduces the problems that arise in this teaching session to provide a solution to the idea.This paper is divided into four chapters.Firstly,this paper discusses the research background and significance,the research status quo at home and abroad,the research method,the research content and the innovation point,paves the way for the paper.The first chapter studies the importance of background knowledge.Chapter 2 studiesthe concept of background knowledge and the theoretical basis.The third chapter analyzes the role of background knowledge in primary school language teaching.The fourth chapter introduces the classification and application of background knowledge in reading teaching.The fourth chapter is the focus of this paper.At last,this paper concludes with a summary of the paper.
